Schools & Out of School Workshops
The IAF has regularly delivered music tuition and full day workshops in a number of across Leeds. In addittion to this we also provide workshops at our premises in the West Park Centre where students from different school come together for a day and participate in workshops. These workshops are centred around Irish music, dance, visual arts and heritage.
World Music for Schools Workshops
A partnership venture has been formed between Education Leeds - Artforms and the Irish Arts Foundation; the ’Experience Ireland!’ workshop provides half and full-day workshops introducing students to the vitality of Irish traditional music, group dancing, myth and legends and art. This activities are delivered by an experienced practitioner and is suitable for KS2 and above.

Lifelong Learning Programme
Based predominantly at The West Park Centre, our new project, the Lifelong Learning Programme is a capacity-building development of the broader work of IAF, focused on adults and young people with a core musical knowledge, e.g. classically-trained, jazz-influenced or English folk-music. The project will be a new and additional programme of workshops and performances covering different musical instruments, working in partnership with a number of groups based at the West Park Centre including Artforms, Leeds Music Support Services, and Yorkshire Late String Starters.
